On-Line Talk: John Rae Society

by Webmaster March 5, 2021 No Comments

The future of The Hall of Clestrain and the Archaeological Investigations

Our talk On-Line Talk: Where Sheep May Safely Graze on the future of The Hall of Clestrain and the Archaeological Investigations was a free on-line talk by the John Rae Society organised by the Orkney Archaeology Society and was a great success with over a hundred participants. And the end of the talk there was a lively Q&A session about the future plans for the Hall. Whilst some of the plans were shown these are by no means the final ideas but concept plans for the funding documents.

A Zoom talk by the John Rae Society

As you will know if you have ever attended one of our “live” talks, we always run a raffle to raise additional funds, and of course we are unable to do this with these online events. However, should you be feeling so inclined, you might like to make a small donation to help us with our money raising (cheeky of me I know !) and you can do that here: https://orkneyarchaeologysociety.org.uk/donate/ but please don’t think there is any obligation to do so – truly there isn’t !
