Talk by Nick Card on ‘The appliance of science’ at the Ness of Brodgar. The talk was in the packed Orkney Theater.
At the end of the very interesting and enjoyable talk there was an auction for bottle #1 of the New Highland Park ‘Ness bottling’ which fetched £300!
This was followed by the results of a raffle with prizes supplied by generous local businesses: Northlink Ferries, Michael Sinclair – Wood Turner, Swannay Brewery, Orkney 3D, Kirkjuvagr Gin, Robert Vasey – Photographer, The Orkney Brewery, ArtWorks of the Earth and Orkney Heritage Tours.
