In Hind Sight: the when and where of Neolithic red deer in Orkney

The results of an OAS funded radiocarbon dating and isotope analysis pilot project.

A talk by Kath Page (4^th Year PhD Student UHI Archaeology Institute). This talk will deliver the results of an OAS funded pilot project that analysed radiocarbon dates from the Ness of Brodgar and the chamber cairns of Blackhammer and Yarso to explore changes in depositional practices during the Neolithic/Bronze Age transition and the movement of red deer in the landscape.

This talk takes place in King Street Halls, Kirkwall and is free to attend, there will be a raffle to raise funds towards the festival costs and to support Orkney Archaeology Society.
