Discovering Pierowall, Westray

with Hazel Moore and Graham Wilson, EASE Archaeology.
A walk and talk around the ancient village of Pierowall, taking in sites of archaeological interest from the Neolithic to Post-Medieval periods – with direction optional visit to Westray Heritage Centre.
Meet at Quarry Rd, Pierowall. KW17 2DF. The WhatThreeWords for this location is upwards.spun.homeward.
As this is outdoors with no shelter, wear weather appropriate clothing and be prepared to walk on some rough ground. All welcome, including well behaved dogs on leads but note that dogs are not allowed in the Heritage Centre. This is a free event, with numbers limited to 20. You need to book your place in advance.
