Brochtoberfest

This is an annual event and this year the programme will feature daily talks and events focused on Caithness, Shetland and Orkney Iron Age, on subjects ranging from textiles to recent archaeological discoveries. Brochtoberfest 9^th– 17^th October 2021

 Welcome to Brochtoberfest 2021, this year we have orgainsed an online event to continue to enable our members from across the UK and beyond to enjoy this popular event, now in its 5^th year.

 This year we are pleased to welcome speakers from across Scotland and the Northern Isles to share their research and interest in all things Broch and the Scottish Iron Age. Tickets for live sessions and the Kwiz can be booked online via Eventbrite and our pre-recorded sessions will be available on the date and times indicated on our YouTube channel.

 All events are free, but donations are always gratefully received. This year we are pleased to have launched a range of Brochtoberfest merchandise that can be order via our online shop. To accompany the online talks, we will post articles, blogs and images on the OAS website, with a new feature added each day from Monday 12^th. We hope you enjoy this year’s schedule of events:
